    Plastic Twist is a proprietary polyester film developed for wrapping candies, chocolates and other sweets. The wrapper stays twisted by a single twist, preserving the candy’s fresh flavor, texture and shape.

    Q: Are plastic twist wrapper recyclable?
    A: Yes, due to mono film 

    Q: Marketing department wants to ensure high shelf presence. Are any optical effects possible?
    A: Optical effects, such as matt / glossy varnishes, metallization and strip-metallization, tactile varnishes, hologram, etc. are available as standard.

    Q: What are the recommended films for chocolate products and hard candies?
    A: Due to its excellent dead-fold-properties, plastic twist wrapper is mainly used for sensitive chocolate products and Eco-twist is mainly used for hard candies.

    Q: Are those structures running on high-speed twist machines?
    A: Due to the consistency of hard candies, the speed of hard candy lines is higher than on chocolate twist lines. Eco-twist wrapper are used on customer high speed lines with more than 900 pcs/min.

    Q: Are all materials approved for direct food contact?
    A: Yes, all relevant documentation can be provided, regular external tests confirm compliance.

    The materials can run on a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine(VFFS), a Horizontal Form Fill Seal Machine(HFFS), a Pouch Filling Machine, or Liquid Filling machinery. There are newer machines on the market that are versatile and can run a wide array of formats including pouches and quad seal.
