Q: Why is paper our preferred choice for achieving a circular economy?
A: Because recyclers can achieve value from collecting, sorting and reprocessing PE film from household waste. The resulting PCR can be used in the production of blown PE film and used again for flexible applications.
Q: How does the Eco-paper technology work?
A: Our oriented PE is a combination of carefully selected, high performance resins and specific processes. It is used in multilayer, but mono material, laminates. Each layer endows the material with the specific functional properties that the packaging application requires (barrier, rigidity, easy tear, peelability, etc.).
Q: How does Eco-paper achieve a good performance on the packing lines?
A: The outer surface of the laminate possesses enhanced thermal resistance and it is combined with a sealant layer that initiates the sealing at lower temperatures. Using both properties eco-paper is able to achieve a suitable operational window to perform well in the packing lines. Q: For which formats can Eco-paper be used?
A: The different structures and grades included in the Eco-family are tailored for a wide variety of formats: i.e. stand-up-pouches, pillow bags, 4-side-seal sachets, stick-packs, flo-wraps, bag-in-box, tubes, etc.
Q: Is the packaging made with Eco-paper recyclable?
A: Eco-paper as material can be claimed as recyclable. In fact, Eco-paper has been the first high barrier material to receive a technical approval from Recyclass within the LDPE-recycling stream.

The materials can run on a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine(VFFS), a Horizontal Form Fill Seal Machine(HFFS), a Pouch Filling Machine, or Liquid Filling machinery. There are newer machines on the market that are versatile and can run a wide array of formats including pouches and quad seal.
